The Acting Chief Judge of Adamawa State, Ambrose Mammadi, on Friday in Yola set up a seven-man panel to investigate allegations of gross misconduct against the state governor, Murtala Nyako, and his deputy, Bala Ngilari.
Nyako, an All Progressives Congress governor, and Ngilari face an impeachment threat from the Assembly, largely dominated by the Peoples Democratic Party lawmakers.
The recommendations of the committee will form the basis on which the Assembly will decide the fate of the embattled governor and his deputy.
